Langtang Easy Trek - The Langtang region is the nearest trekking destinations from Kathmandu, that can be easily accessed within a few hours’ drive from Kathmandu. This particular trek is highly recommended for trekkers who are short of holiday time but still want to explore the unmissable natural and cultural beauty Nepal has to offer. We start this merely 9 days long trek from about 7 hours drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi (1450m), a Sherpa village placed at the edge of ‘The Langtang Valley’. The valley itself falls in ‘The Langtang National Park’, which is home to around 4600 local inhabitants, many species of birds and animals. As we pass through the trail, we are continuously gazed upon by snow-capped peaks of ‘The Ganesh Himal’, ‘Langtang Lirung’ and the ranges of Annapurna and Manaslu. Following the banks of the Langtang River, we climb steeply through forests of hemlocks, maples and rhododendron to popular lunchtime spot of Ghora Tabela.
A couple of hours of gradual climb in to the Lantang Valley finally takes us to ‘Kyanjin Gompa’ our destination of this short trek to Langtang. We have the options to climb to Kyanjin Ri or Tserko Ri (5000m), to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Lantang valley and the 360 degree of Himalayan panorama. After enjoying a great morning at Kyanjin Gompa, we trek down to the Lama hotel and make our way towards Kathmandu.
Day 1 : Kathmandu (1,300m/4,265ft) – Syabru Besi (1,500m/4,921ft) - Chilime (1,762m/5,780ft)
Day 2 : Chilime (1,762m/5,780ft) – Tatopani (2,607m/8,550ft)- Nagthali Gyang (3,165m/10,383ft)
Day 3 : Nagthali Gyang(3,165m/10,383ft) – Thuman (2,338m/7,670ft) – Syabru Besi (1440m /4750ft)
Day 4 : Syabru Besi (1,500m/4,921ft) – Kathmandu (1300m /4265ft)
Kathmandu (1,300m/4,265ft) – Syabru Besi (1,500m/4,921ft) - Chilime (1,762m/5,780ft) than check in hotel (L, D)
Chilime (1,762m/5,780ft) – Tatopani (2,607m/8,550ft)- Nagthali Gyang (3,165m/10,383ft). Overnight in Hotel
Nagthali Gyang(3,165m/10,383ft) – Thuman (2,338m/7,670ft) – Syabru Besi (1440m /4750ft). Overnight in Hotel.
Syabru Besi (1,500m/4,921ft) – drive back to Kathmandu (1300m /4265ft)
Langtang easy trek can be done in 11 days.

One must be vaccinated against COVID-19 for travelling to Nepal and you might also follow your doctor’s advice on the vaccinations to be taken.

You can get from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi or Dhunche by drive 6 to 7 hrs by bus or jeep or Land cruiser.
You can have 3 meals (B, L and D) per day on your trek. However, you will have to pay for extra snacks, drinks and also bottled water.
You will stay in a hotel in Kathmandu. While on trekking we provide you daily accommodation at local tea houses in various stations.

Generally, a group size of 1 to 15 people is considered.
